Delete your account and data

Effective [DATE]

Your information belongs to you. You can delete your Bwenzi account and its associated data at any time, in two ways.

Option 1. Delete it in the app

1. Open the app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently deleted.

Option 2. Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email us at support [at] bwenzi.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify it's you (usually by confirming control of that email) and delete your account. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile.
• The sign-ups and content you created.
• Personal information associated with your account, including analytics data tied to it.

What we may keep, and why

We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it, for example basic transaction records needed for tax or accounting. These are kept only as long as required and then deleted. We do not keep them for marketing, and we never sell them.

A note for participants

If you signed up for something without creating an account, you can edit or remove your own entry using the self-service link in your confirmation email. To have any remaining information removed, email support [at] bwenzi.com.
